Art is the most intimate expression of human feelings, ideas and emotions. Artistic work must by no means be restricted to the traditional disciplines such as painting, sculpture or writing but can be expressed in all forms of human activity and life.

The reincarnation of one's own soul on a piece of paper, a stone or even a computer screen is a growing object expressing the most inner terrains of the subject itself.

As such, art is a special form of psychology and philosophy and subsequently the most human expression of them all. Hence it does not matter if we produce a new idea or create a novel or picture. In the best case, we always materialize ourselves and communicate with the outside world.

Our art is the essential means to discover nothing less than ourselves.

Thomas H. Jäkel is a freelance artist. He grew up in Germany and displayed his artistic work in several art exhibitions. His ideas and convictions experienced their greatest influence during his early education in the Episcopal boarding school "Regina Pacis" in Leutkirch.

His artistic work focuses on computer art, digital photography and writing. His pictures usually are a combination of pencil drawings, photography, 2D and 3D elements often using ordinary motives and forms in a surrealistic and illusory context.

The artistic aim is to express the unique individualism of our imaginations, conclusions and associations and the struggle of personal freedom against all forms of egalitarianism.
